Dissemination Conference Grant

Dissemination Conference Grant

E-NICHE is pleased to announce it will award one grant to an E-NICHE member to support attending a Dissemination Conference.

Dissemination Conferences are events or conferences not organized by the COST Action where action participants present research or activities directly related to the aims of one of the work packages of the action. The maximum amount awarded is 1000 euros. Eligible expenses are travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses, registration fee, and other costs directly related to the conference contribution. The call opens on April 5, 2025 and the first eligible applicant to apply and pass the selection criteria will be awarded the grant.

Eligibility

An application is considered eligible if:

  • The candidate is a participant of E-NICHE;
  • The conference is clearly related to chemical ecology and of sufficiently high quality;
  • The conference is not (co)organized by E-NICHE.

We particularly invite YRIs to apply and the grant is primarily aimed at supporting oral dissemination, but if you applied for a talk and were selected for a poster presentation instead, you are still eligible for the grant.

Criteria

The presentation at the Dissemination Conference:

  • Significantly increases visibility of the Action in the research community, can contribute to increasing visibility of the presenter;
  • Attracts additional participants and stakeholders and disseminates Action results to relevant end-users at high profile conferences in the field on a topic relevant to the Action.
  • The Dissemination Conference grantee receives support for attending and delivering an oral presentation of the Action, their activities, and results at a conference and for developing new contacts and potential future collaborations;
  • COST Action CA22102 E-NICHE: receives increased visibility and awareness, new contacts with potential stakeholders.
