The aim of the Naples meeting was to take forward the organization and drafting of publications.

For WG1, we mostly worked on a review paper in a high-impact journal on CE challenges and solutions. We also discussed the possibility to have a special issue in the Journal of Chemical Ecology, in which members of all WGs could participate.

For WG2, we worked on two review papers: one, on chemical ecology-based methods, tools, and applications for ecosystem management and preservation; the second, on chemical communication and ecosystem functioning in a changing world. Furthermore, we planned a workshop on communication systems in invasive species to be held in June 2025 in Portugal.
