For more than 10 years, I've been working in the field of chemical ecology. My primary research focus lies in understanding the behavioural responses of pest moths and wasps to various volatile compounds derived from host plant or food sources, particularly within field condition. While my work is driven by a passion for uncovering practical solutions to pest management challenges, I'm equally interested by the background processes that shape insect behaviour and decision-making. Exploring the underlying mechanisms behind these phenomena not only enhances our understanding of chemical ecology but also opens doors to possible approaches for pest control and environmental conservation. I am delighted to be a part of our COST action, which brings together chemical ecologists from across Europe. It's truly inspiring to see a diverse community of researchers united by a common goal for exploring the world of chemical ecology.
