My main research interests are: i) chemical ecology in the broadest sense, but mainly on insects through the concept of chemical signatures (cuticular compounds), ii) the integrative study of insect societies, iii) the whole encompassing the evolutionary ecology and life-history traits of a wide variety of insects, arthropods and all kinds of living beings that communicate with the same semio-chemical language.
