François Verheggen is a chemical ecologist from the University of Liege (Belgium). He studies the chemical communication of insects and plants with the main objective of developing control methods based on the use of semiochemicals. François is also a big fan of thanatochemistry, since he characterizes the smell of decomposition and its perception by necrophagous species. He loves communicating science through conferences, social media and his YouTube channel.
