Our annual E-NICHE meeting held in Zagreb (University of Agriculture), Croatia, from the 7th to the 9th of September 2026, is now closed.
The first morning was devoted to the management committee meeting with the Core Group. The following two and a half days were devoted to our annual general meeting. Eighty-three people were in attendance, coming from 31 countries (including one guest participant from the United States, two young assistants, and one chaperone). These three days were very well organized by our local hosts and provided another opportunity to reconnect, discuss science, and consider the future of E-NICHE, given that the coming year will be E-NICHE’s last. Several discussions took place regarding the various articles currently in preparation, with the lead authors in attendance. Please find attached the updated meeting booklet (without the abstracts).
