E-NICHE YRI Grant

To the members of E-NICHE

E-NICHE is pleased to announce the possibility of two grants for Young Researchers and Innovators (YRIs) from Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC*) to participate in the International Society of Chemical Ecology (ISCE) annual conference held in Prague (Czechia) in July 2024.

This year’s ISCE meeting will be the only one organized in Europe during the COST action of E-NICHE. We are thus excited with this unique opportunity to contribute to inclusiveness in the broader chemical ecology society by sponsoring two young researchers from ITCs with a maximum amount of EUR 2000. The applicant is required to contribute an oral or poster presentation and proof of acceptance of the contribution by the organizers must be presented in the application but she/he cannot be also applicant for an ISCE student travel award.

To apply, please upload the following supporting documentation in e-COST- CA22102 through the ITC Conference Grant Application link

  • A motivation letter describing the relevance of the candidate’s oral or poster contribution to ISCE for the mission of E-NICHE as well as the potential impact on the applicant’s career.
  • Acceptance letter from the conference organizers
  • Copy of the abstract of the accepted oral or poster presentation

Please, carefully read the Userguide for ITC conference grant for YRIs. Note the grant will be issued after the conference and only if the recipient submits a brief report and proof of attendance.
